Who is Fr. Jeffrey Steenson?
Currently Fr. Steenson is the Carl and Lois Davis Visiting Professor in Patristic Studies at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston. He is also a frequent celebrant at the Sunday evening "Life Teen" Mass at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church.
Education: D.Phil. (theology), University of Oxford, 1983; M.Div., Harvard Divinity School, 1978; M.A. (church history), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 1976; B.A. (history), Trinity College, 1974.
Experience: Currently Fr. Steenson is the Carl and Lois Davis Visiting Professor in Patristic Studies at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston.

Episcopal parish in Bladensburg, Maryland converts to Roman Catholic Church

"In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI released the apostolic constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus. In it, the Pope outlined a means by which Anglicans (individuals or entire parishes) could come into full communion with the Catholic Church, while keeping elements of their spiritual and liturgical tradition.
Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington oversees the outreach to Anglicans and the establishment of the new personal ordinariates in the U.S. on behalf of the Holy Father. Cardinal Wuerl spoke to the U.S. Bishops about the new ordinariates and took questions."
